Dr. Buford was Director of Internet Technologies at Verizon and Chief Architect-OSS at GTE Laboratories. While at Verizon and GTE, he managed a variety of OSS products and professional services projects. Dr. Buford was also VP of Software Development at Kada Systems where he managed software development for mobile and embedded devices for Cisco, Texas Instruments, and Analog Devices. Dr. Lewis was the Director of Research at Cabletron and Aprisma Management Technologies for more than 10 years where he was responsible for the development of new technology for enterprise and service management products in Cabletron's highly regarded Spectrum product line. Dr. Lewis holds 20 patents and has 20 patents pending.
